Client: Al Raha Bakery & Pâtisserie
Scope: Calligraphy Logo , Brand Identity, Packaging.
A bakery that has been around long enough to have earned its warmth. The identity needed to feel like it carried that history without looking dated. Rooted in Arabic calligraphy, built to work in a modern context.


The calligraphy was drawn to do several things at once. Sharp and soft edges in the same stroke. Thick and thin variation that gives it an organic, almost edible quality. The relationship between the two letters flows together rather than sitting side by side. Vintage without being nostalgic. Established without being stiff.
